Q&A with Greg Grunloh
Holabird & Root architect, Greg Grunloh, AIA, sat down with Modern Midwest to discuss renovating Illinois Institute of Technology’s Wishnick Hall, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The project was completed in 2008. Mies Van der Rohe designed Wishnick Hall in 1945 to house the Department of Chemistry and the Polymer Center. The building now houses the Department of Biomedical Engineering; the Department of Math and Science Education; and the Department of Biological, Chemical, and Physical Sciences.
