Holabird & Root created a master plan for Drake University’s science complex. The reorganization of the science departments allows for the renovation of all existing spaces within the existing buildings, as well as the realization of new additions to the science complex.

It also proposes a new link addition between Olin and Fitch, which housed a vivarium, and new teaching labs and various informal gathering spaces. The teaching labs include spaces for chemistry, pharmacy, psychology, and biology.

A new addition to the south of Olin Hall housed the relocated physics spaces and the math and computer science department, along with several shared classrooms.

The master plan also consolidate the pharmacy department, which is currently spread throughout all of the buildings.
