In need of modern classrooms, lecture halls, student gathering spaces, offices, and laboratories to support its programs, Harper College commissioned Holabird & Root to complete a significant renovations to three prominent campus buildings.
A new pedestrian briege links the adjacent G and H buildings and a new parking garage. A central clerestory roof addition opens to the interior corridors and brings natural light to the new two-story connecting volume.
Building D houses administrative spaces, the mathematics department, and the computer science department. The project includes a regional chiller plant providing chilled water to the entire campus quadrant.
