Following a district-wide facilities master planning effort with Wadsworth City Schools, Holabird & Root collaborated with the District to arrive at the renovation and expansion of its Art Wright Stadium. The scope of work included expanding the field surface, adding synthetic turf, expanding the visitor bleachers, and adding new visitor restrooms.

An extensive retaining wall system accommodates 20 feet of elevation change. The project also included a new and relocated sports lighting system, integrated fiber/communications system for television and broadcast, and emergency vehicle access.

The $2.8M project was the result of savings incurred following the master planning effort and a capital campaign. The Stadium holds a capacity of 7,300 occupants. This turnkey project was completed on budget and on an accelerated schedule in time for the start of football season.
