Holabird & Root collaborated with the Chicago Housing Authority on the renovation and restacking of its new headquarters. The CHA entered into a long-term lease to occupy seven (7) full floors and limited space on the ground floor of the CNA Building, located at 60 East Van Buren Street in Chicago, Illinois.

The existing space (ground floor and floors 8 through 13) were completed reprogrammed and renovated as a Customer Service Center with offices for staff.

The expansion space (floor 7) was programmed to serve as the new Board Room, dedicated for CHA Board of Commissioners Meetings. The total area of renovation encompassed approximately 194,700-square-feet and included new furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and low voltage design.
