MILWAUKEE COUNTRY CLUB

Milwaukee Country Club required the renovation and restoration of its grille dining and bar to enhance the member dining experience.

The design team was tasked with restoring the space while respecting the architectural context of the 100-year-old club.  Flexibility to serve both formal dining experiences as well as long-standing traditional club member events guided the design. The design team provided strategic-based master planning for phased, immediate, and future project implementation:

  • 3,800-square-foot fire restoration and renovation of the main dining room.

  • New grille bar dining and new bar.

  • New private dining room.

  • Acoustical engineering studies and new hallway entry from foyer to dining rooms.

  • Custom millwork on all areas of the project including hand hewn bar top and drink ledge top.

  • Fully automated millwork panels to conceal flat screen televisions in the grille bar.

  • Custom back grille bar detail in thick custom glass shelves with back mirror to reflect the window daylight in the grille dining room.
